I'm Humbled by 25,000 Followers

Last week, my LinkedIn network reached 25,000 followers, and if I'm being honest, the overwhelming feeling isn't pride - it's gratitude.
Twenty-five thousand people have chosen to connect, share ideas, exchange opportunities, offer advice, ask questions, and be part of each other's professional journeys. That is something I don't take lightly.
When I joined LinkedIn many years ago, I certainly never imagined my network would grow to this size. Most connections started with a conversation, a shared industry experience, a plant visit, a conference, a referral, a job search, or simply a willingness to say,
"Let's stay connected."
Over the years, I've been fortunate to build relationships with professionals from around the world, but particularly within the manufacturing and automotive industries that have shaped my own career.
My journey began in automotive manufacturing in 2003, first in Project Management and Sales, then in Human Resources, and ultimately in recruiting.
Each chapter taught me something different about business, leadership, and people.
One lesson has remained constant throughout all of it:
Relationships matter.
The opportunities I've had, the clients I've served, the candidates I've placed, and even some of my close friendships can all be traced back to relationships that started with a single conversation.
In a world that often feels increasingly automated and transactional, I remain incredibly thankful for the people behind the profiles - the leaders, engineers, plant managers, HR professionals, suppliers, colleagues, candidates, clients, and friends who have allowed me to be a small part of their professional journeys.
This milestone isn't about collecting connections. It's about being part of a community that shares knowledge, supports one another, and continues to move our industries forward.
To every person who has connected, responded to a message, shared an opportunity, offered advice, made an introduction, or simply followed along on this journey -
